Spain’s Most Stylish Wedding Locations

World-Class Gastronomy, Fine Wines And Jaw Dropping Venues

The allure of Spain as a wedding destination needs little explanation. From the rich culture, fine wines and plethora of award-winning cuisine, this region takes some beating. One of the most accessible countries in Europe and promising a dependable climate, Spain is a perfect choice throughout the year for ceremonies and celebrations whether they are intimate gatherings or extravagant fiestas for an abundance of guests. Here is just a small selection of my favourites throughout the contrasting regions of Spain.

Masia Cabellut - Tarragona

The stunning venue of Masia Cabellut in the small town of Masllorenç encapsulates the beauty of the natural surroundings of Northern Spain. Within an hour’s drive of vibrant Barcelona, this heritage property dating back to 1745 has been lovingly restored and this 18th Century hostel is now a seven-bed hideaway with stylish contemporary touches including an infinity pool, 3000sq. metres of gardens and breath-taking views over the vineyards beyond. Wine lovers can delight in the private wine collection which celebrates the neighbouring wine regions of Tarragona and Penedes as well as the international grape varieties grown within their private vineyard.

Castell De Ben Viure - Barcelona

Blending Havana’s colonial style with the traditional architecture of Spain, this unique private estate is steeped in the history of more than seven generations. With exclusive use of the historic house and gardens within a short drive of Barcelona, this a creative canvas for a multitude of wedding event styles. Formal dining on the extensive outdoor terrace, the romance of a Bedouin style tent, intimate gatherings around a jasmine scented pergola or just gather in the fireplace lounge for a cosy soiree. With this versatility comes endless scenarios for any dream wedding.

La Farinera Sant Lluis - Girona

Nestled between the Costa Brava and the Pyrenees, the majestic modernist house of La Farinera Sant Lluís sits in the heart of private woodland overlooking an idyllic lake. It is no wonder it is a popular location for many film and creative shoots. Hold your wedding celebrations in the magical setting of a converted historic flour mill; or on the private pier jutting over the picturesque lake. Sleeping up to 54 people and with an event capacity of up to 1500, you can choose between an intimate gathering or a lavish party.

Masia Egara - Barcelona

This historical Catalonian Farmhouse, just outside Barcelona, is filled to the rooftop with antique furnishings and original art dating back to the 16th Century. Surrounded by 300 hectares of farmland and forest, it is also home to some of the most celebrated private gardens in Catalonia. Embrace the authentic feel of its banqueting hall and outdoor terrace, the intimacy of its 16th century chapel and the romance of exchanging vows in the seclusion of the tree lined garden.

Finca la Concepcion - Marbella

Andalusian splendor seeps from every corner of this restored ‘Cortijo’. Adjacent to the Llamado Verde river, this restored Foundry is set amongst centuries old palm trees in addition to avocado, orange and olive plantations. Sip cava by the pool area before dining around the spectacular fountain or at the foot of the age-old walnut tree. This spectacular destination provides the perfect backdrop for some of the most spectacular weddings in the Marbella region.

Marques de Montemolar - Altea

A former home to the aristocracy and upper bourgeoise, this mid century mansion on the Tossal de Molar stands proudly on the hill with views of the town of Altea and the bay below. The vistas from the marquise viewpoint create a breath-taking scene for afternoon aperitifs before moving onto the ballroom which can accommodate up to 120 guests; or for greater numbers dine under the stars along the cypress path in the forefront of the elegant mansion façade.

Casa Benigalip - Denia

In the Marina Alta region of Denia lies the lovingly restored Casa Benigalip, an 18th century farmhouse with no less than 50,000sq meters of entertaining space. With luxury accommodation for the wedding party, a small Christian chapel in the grounds as well as charming outdoor spaces for larger ceremonies, you need not leave the venue for anything. From the Valencian architecture to the extensive olive groves, Casa Bengalip can tailor your day to your exact requirements.

El Moli de la Torre - Girona

Salvador Dali referred to this restored property as ‘a magical place’. Situated in L’Empordà just outside Girona, this majestic mansion is considered one of the most important in the region. With no less than 10 different event spaces to choose from, its versatility makes it a firm favourite for bespoke weddings in this region. Whether it’s the magnolia scented tower garden, the theatrical industrial yard or the intimate pool area, anything is possible with the help of our creative events team.

Casa La Siesta - Cadiz

Tailor-made weddings are at the heart of this traditional farmhouse venue in Cadiz. Every wedding is created around your exact specification. Accommodating up to 120 guests, the interiors of this lovingly modernised farmhouse have featured in many magazines in recognition of its exquisite styling. Only 5 mins drive from El Palmar and close to two traditional churches, you have a choice of ceremony location if you prefer to venture beyond the beautiful gardens and olives groves onsite.

Casa de la Era - Marbella

Every wedding venue aspires to offer unique spaces for your ceremony and celebrations. How about a ceremonial circle and atmospheric amphitheater carved into the mountainside with the benefits of glamourous Marbella on your doorstep? This charming Andalusian 4 bedroomed villa has impressive views of the sea and surrounding mountainside and can accommodate up to 220 guests in their outdoor terrace or 50 guests in the delightful barn.
